Well, Random.org gave me #14, which is Kira Bennett! Congratulations - will message you now!
I do hope you share, but if you want to scoff them whilst everyone else watches on, it's your prerogative!
And for those only interested in the cake pops, I swear I'll be back soon with lots more images for you. It's been a really hectic week, and this weekend is just as bad!

Competition Time!
Well, I've had a Twitter comp, and a Facebook comp, so maybe now it's time for one on the blog!
I don't get a lot of comments on here, but I'd love for this to change, so starting now, let's get some interaction!
I'm thinking maybe if you leave your real name below, and 'like' the Facebook page, I'll be able to work out who is who and contact you from there. I'll post the randomly-drawn winner of the giveaway on the 20th May on both here and Facebook (and Twitter). If you're a tweep, feel free to leave your username and I'll contact you that way. If you're not on either, feel free to leave your email address but with (at) instead of @ and dotcom or dotcouk instead of .com/.co.uk - that way the spambots won't getcha!
What's the prize? Well, I'm thinking a box of 6 photo pops - your choice of photo on a cake pop! Makes a great gift if you want to share, and you get to pick the flavour. Can't say fairer than that, no?
Alrighty then - get commenting! If you want to follow the blog while you're at it, then even better!

Green fingers, Rapunzel, birthdays & weddings and more - it's all go this week!
Great news! A replacement upload cable has arrived (thank you eBay!) so let the picture sharing festivities begin. Be warned - there are plenty today!
Well, I finally had a chance to put an idea of mine into fruition. After a client requested a watering can I suggested these little cuties to go with them:

Teeny tiny seedling pops! |
My other big new invention was the little birthday cake pop, complete with candles. I've already had three orders for it since putting it up on the Facebook page a few days ago. Sure to be a big hit!
And, being British, how I could I not step up and make some Royal Wedding cake pops?! If you look very closely, you'll see that I hand-painted the little heart cake topper with the Union Jack. Yeah, that was fiddly. Thankfully we don't get many Royal weddings so hopefully won't have to do that again for a while! As long as Harry doesn't start courting the foxy Pippa Middleton, that is...
Hmmm... what else? Well, a client asked for Tangled themed cake pops so I came up with these Rapunzel heads. I was umming and ahing about how to do her hair, and then suddenly it hit me - loop it down the stick!
And how could I forget my little babes in bonnets? Made for a babyshower last week, I tried to make them all a bit different. Some have crazy hair, others just a curl or a straggly fringe.
And now for some custom orders. First up, a Rudy Project cycle helmet. Sadly there is a bit of glare from the glaze so you can't quite see the detail:
A trowel -yeah, this one wasn't too great and chances are you'd never guess what it was, despite the subtle clue I placed next to it! Think the handle needs to be longer, although I have to say that it was *really* hard to do. I much prefer the watering can and seedlings I did for the other order!
Some Moshlings:
Almost done - I promise! Thanks for staying with me thus far! And finally, rocket numbers and hand-painted rugby balls!
And there you have it - lots of pretty pictures!
Thanks again for taking the time to have a peek. Would love to see some comments!

Clearly my blogging skills are somewhat lacking!
Gosh, I don't know how some people manage to blog everyday. I struggle to manage just once a week (and last blog post was over a month ago).
So, anyhoo, I did have a brief holiday (was lovely, thanks) and then I had the crazy Easter rush, so I guess you'd like to see what I've been up to. Let me oblige!
My absolute favourite creation lately has been these birdie pops.
I just think their little expressions are so adorable!
I've also made Marilyn pops (or Pop Art - geddit?):
And Despicable Me characters:
Owls based on the fabulous baby shoe Hoot design by Inch Blue:
And finally, Jack Skellington pops!
And now for the bad news. Whilst I've been taking pictures of my latest creations, I've mislaid my upload cable so can't share. I shall turn the house upside-down over the next week so you can see some more of my cake poppery creations!
Thanks ever so much for your patience, and so sorry that I'm rather rubbish at this blogging malarkey!
Happy Easter, folks - time for some Hot Cross Buns and chocolate eggs - OM NOM NOM!

It's with great pleasure that I present my latest range...
PHOTO POPS!
I am so proud of these, they make me feel warm and fuzzy inside (and not just because my son is on one of the samples). I thought to myself, hmmm... edible rice paper? Well, I was already using it for my Shrek features and my suitcases (which will now all have printed luggage stickers and will look infinitely cooler!) and I just thought that eating your children would be sweet. Or anyone for that matter. Suitable for so many occasions, birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, and well, even wakes if that's what floats your boat. And I have *always* wanted an edible-ink printer. I couldn't tell you why, it's just one of those things I've always coveted. My friend Tracey will know what I mean - I knew I'd found a kindred spirit in her when she told me about her longing for one too. And now I have an excuse - WOOHOO!
And the best thing about them? They're so flexible - I can make logos, advertisements, or anything into pops, and they look really effective. Such a fabulous way to truly personalise your event, or make your products stand out. You'll be remembered at a wedding fair if your beautiful photos are given as samples for people to take home and appreciate with a cup of tea! And, unlike icing sheets like the photo cakes at Sainsburys used to be, rice paper doesn't really taste of anything and just melts away when you eat it.
I've shared a few of the samples I created below- including some for Jack FM Hertfordshire which I thought were really rather cute!
Maybe my photo pops aren't for you. Not a problem. Perhaps you like cutesy animal pops more? Well, how about these pandas?
And the latest addition to the Cake Pop Princess family - MONKEYS! Because let's face it - all of know someone with a little monkey or two!
Happy weekend!

Spring has sprung - woohoo!
A few days of sun and I'm beaming like a Cheshire cat! There are daffodils, crocuses (crosi?) and all sorts springing up in our garden and it's lovely to have a bit of colour back after a very cold and snowy Winter!
This week I've been working on some varied bits and pieces - butterflies and flowers, and reworking some of my originals - the Dalek and Tardis pops.
First up, the butterflies. I've never really been happy with the first butterflies I made. They just didn't look, well, cutesy enough to me.
Here is what my first efforts looked like. So the pink one isn't too bad, but I really didn't love the red one:
This week I had a request for purple butterflies, so it was a chance to rework them. I only found my stride a few butterflies in - now I know what I like and I think I'll be repeating it in future!
I also tried my hand at flowers for Mothers Day, and was pretty pleased with the results. I can't really take full credit for these as the original idea was Bakerella's. I have put my own little spin onto them with different centres and the use of green sticks but essentially they're the same. Couldn't resist trying them though - they were just too sweet! I will be experimenting with more flowers in the coming weeks as I'd love to have something truly original.
And now for my Dr Who cake pops. These are all my own work and whilst I do think they're better than before (the gold finish is better on my dalek now I've stopped using the spray, for instance) I think my Tardis could still be better. It's straighter, bigger, and whilst I did personalise these for a client who was turning 32 this week, I think they're getting there. I do have something planned for future Tardis which might just be the icing on the cake (or the candy melt on the cake pop) but we'll have to see!
Here are the originals followed by the new ones - can you spot the difference?
And finally, some more number pops. I'd only had orders for numbers with holes in this part week - they'd all been 1s, 2s ,3s, & 7s thus far! My first numbers didn't quiet look right - the 4s weren't too bad as the stick didn't have to go through the hole with them, but the 0s and 8s were a different story. After a bit of experimentation, I finally came up with the idea of sticking holes to them and think they worked quite well:
Well, that's pretty much it from my little cake poppery this week. Have you been up to anything fun? Do tell!

A grovelling apology with a dollop of self-pity
My goodness - have been so busy popping that I've completely neglected the blog for almost two weeks! Terribly sorry, won't happen again!
Am dosed up on painkillers at the moment after dropping something from a great height onto my big toe. It hurts A LOT. And standing up popping for hours on end really isn't doing me any favours. But enough feeling sorry for myself, I know you're only really here for one thing and that's my latest creations.
Well, I redid the Star Wars cake pops (now with Stormtrooper and Princess Leia):
I made some lovely boy-themed number pops, in baby blue:
and bright blue:
Some Disney Princess pops:
And finally, some Timmys!
So there you have it. Everything you've missed! Hope you're not too mad at me for neglecting you. Friends again?
